Welcome!

Hi there! Welcome to my blog, a place where I get to exhibit my thoughts and you get to hopefully enjoy what you read.

A bit about myself?

I am a 21 year-old male who is a second year Nutrition Science student at the University of Queensland. I am an aspiring dietetics student and regularly engage in other things such as track and field, the outdoors, books, coffee and the challenges the world and life present.

I am a firm believer in constantly stimulating the brain in order to break up the mundane reality of repetitive activities. While I can appreciate most, if not all, endeavours are mentally appealing, if done constantly day in day out however, they can simply become a ‘drag’ and you’re less inclined to invest the same effort into them like you did on day one. As a result, it’s important to have variety in your life, whether that be through changing up the tasks you do at work,  taking different courses at uni as opposed to four of the ‘same’ or even participating in some form of sport or physical activity.

So implementing the same principle, I strive for this blog to have the same variety that is important to keep the brain ‘fresh.’ Hopefully sharing some of the fascinating things I learn at uni that you can benefit from, as well as other things and challenges which I find particularly interesting.

As this is the first time I am pursuing something like this, I have not set myself any expectations, but rather I am using this platform as a means to discuss a variety of topics to broaden my horizon and hopefully yours as well.

With that, I wish only the very best to anyone reading this blog,

Anthony
